DJ Khaled finally got his hands on a pair of Eminem’s ultra-rare Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Encore’ kicks – and he couldn’t contain his excitement.
Khaled took to his Instagram on Wednesday (Dec. 28) to celebrate being able to finally purchase what has become one of his most prized possessions.
“Finally I got her. Everyone knows me and I’ve been trying to get these for a long time,” he said. I’m here. I collect sneakers, I collect watches, and I love sneakers, but I’ve been wanting them for a long time and finally got them. ”

“They say they only made 23 pairs of these.

To honour Eminem’s multi-platinum 2004 album of the same name, the Air Jordan 4 “Encore” was first introduced in 2005. Only 50 pairs were produced at the time, and they were given to Em’s friends and family, according to SneakerBarDetroit.
In 2017, the suede blue 4s made a comeback with a throwback edition; only 23 pairs were made and distributed to select consumers. Khaled appears to have acquired one of the 23 pieces created for the 2017 throwback edition.
Slim Shady’s “Encore” 4 is in such short availability that it is both highly sought after and difficult to locate. On the StadiumGoods website, there is just one pair of size 8 shoes available right now, and they cost over $47,000.
In 2015, Eminem collaborated with Air Jordan and Carhartt on the “Black Chrome” Air Jordan 4, which was likewise created in small quantities and distributed to friends and family while a few pairs were auctioned off on eBay for charitable causes.
The most recent sale of the Carhartt “Black Chrome” on the StockX marketplace was for $23,000, while some pairs are now advertised for more than six figures.
