On “SOS” and “Conceited,” SZA tackles BBL and plastic surgery rumours.
SOS, SZA’s eagerly anticipated second studio album, is now available. Fans are thoroughly absorbing the expansive new record, SZA’s first new work in five years, and reacquainting themselves with one of R&B’s most secretive stars.

Early album highlights like “Kill Bill” have already sparked hysterical discussion on Twitter. The album’s guests, who range from Travis Scott to the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, have also generated a lot of discussions. But the music’s quality itself seems to be what moves fans the most. SOS seems to continue the tradition of candour in her music started by TDE’s departing queen.
The five years since the 2017 release of Ctrl have seen a major change in SZA’s physical appearance. Fans are raving about the highly regarded singer’s substantially curvier appearance. However, SZA’s physique alterations have also led to suspicions about her getting a BBL and other sorts of plastic surgery.
However, the TDE musician didn’t hold back while addressing those rumours on her most recent album. On many tracks from SOS, notably the album’s title track and “Concieted,” SZA, according to Uproxx, directly addresses such rumours.
SZA boldly raps, “So classic, that ass so big, it looks natural, it ain’t,” on the album opener “SOS.” Later on, SZA opens “Conceited” with a line that expresses her distaste for individuals and their uninvited ideas. She confesses in the song’s opening lines, “I simply got my body done, ain’t got no guilt about it.” I could have done without your viewpoint, which I just heard.
You can listen to both of the stated tracks below. She admits to having plastic surgery at the 0:58 and 0:10 marks of “SOS” and “Conceited,” respectively.
SZA’s admission of the long-rumored plastic surgery may come as a shock to some, but her support for body positivity is well known. She supported Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE” lyrics from 2017 that reference stretch marks. “If he’s advocating for a positive body image, how is that misogyny? SZA stated, “I think that’s so strange and it’s reaching. “If you want to support women, you should support all shapes of women.
I used to weigh 200 pounds, and now my entire body is covered in stretch marks. Kendrick’s affirmation of my beauty gives me additional relief and comfort.
