The native of Los Angeles has his idea for the contest.
Without a doubt, Ice Cube has had his share of hits over his illustrious career. He did not, however, agree to a Verzuz fight with LL Cool J or Scarface.
His rationale? Because he is only acting out of love.
Cube recently revealed he had a completely different idea for the renowned battles during an appearance on the Bootleg Kev Podcast.
The rapper of “No Vaseline” was questioned over his willingness to engage in a head-to-head hit war. He continues to say “no.”

His favoured idea is to have just him and his opponent play their respective favourite tunes. Naturally, the Verzuz bouts don’t quite follow this super-friendly format.
In the well-liked online series right now, musicians compete by picking the greatest of their singles. The fans choose the winner on their terms after 20 rounds of back-and-forth.
The N.W.A. star is therefore uninterested. “I can’t oppose someone I respect. I can’t see it because, in the game, LL seems like an OG. Scarface and I are in love, but we don’t talk enough to do a Verzuz together. It shouldn’t be a competition, the 53-year-old claims.
The Houston native amusingly joked about the likelihood of a Verzuz confrontation with his friend only last year. The “Smile” rapper declared he would defeat Cube by playing his favourite “Cube sh*t” in an interview with The Breakfast Club.
In other recent news, Ice Cube of MOUNT WESTMORE has released a new album. The supergroup features the Ride Along star joining forces with Snoop Dogg, E-40, and Too $hort, three more West Coast hip-hop icons.
Just last night, SNOOP CUBE 40 $HORT was officially released (December 9). Since last year, the project had been hinted about.
